In 2019, KREP data was released showing that over 50% of students entering Kindergarten in Gwinnett County were not ready to access the curriculum. An initiative of advocates, educators, and leaders set out to change that.

We felt it was imperative to begin this initiative with a name outlining exactly what the initiative as set out to do– Build Babies’ Brains. We also wanted to clearly show the foundational necessity in the logo, with the inclusion of the building blocks.

Our primary method for reaching new parents fell in the digital space, so we set out to build a clean, inviting website that was easy for first time visitors to navigate.
Phase two was the development of an interactive personal survey that allows parents to build a personalized toolkit to support key development areas based on their age and unique needs.
Gwinnett is extremely diverse and making this site accessible to everyone is a major priority. The website and all toolkit aspects are translated into the 5 most spoken languages in the county.
The website was built on the WordPress Platform using Elementor Pro and was awarded a 2021 silver w3 award for Website Design: Education.
